ELIGIBILITY: Entry purchaser, and anyone to whom an entry purchaser legally transfers an entry, must be either a business entity or an individual 21 years or older and a legal U.S. resident at the time of entry purchase. Original entry purchaser must be present in the State of Arizona at the time of entry purchase. Arizona residency is not required. Tickets may be purchased from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHC) by phone at 602-798-5097, online at rmhccnaz.ejoinme.org/McNightRaffle, or at the Ronald McDonald House located at 501 E. Roanoke Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Tickets must be purchased with cash, by separate check or charged to a credit card, and cannot be combined with purchase of McNight Gala tickets. Entry purchaser is responsible for providing a valid name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number at the time of purchase. Raffle tickets stubs cannot be mailed. Entry purchaser will solely receive a purchase confirmation number by mail. A confirmation number is not required to claim a prize.
AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY OFFICIAL RULES: Each eligible person who enters the raffle agrees that his or her entry into the raffle operates as their full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Also, by entering the raffle, each person agrees to perform all conditions and obligations required by these Official Rules. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
DRAWING: Only 2,500 tickets will be sold at two price points: single tickets for $20 and 6 for $100. RMHC assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or non-delivered entries. Any mutilated, incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. All entries purchased prior to the Gala and at the Gala will be entered in the drawing to be held on November 2, 2019.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Winner need not be present to win. Winner not present at time of drawing will be notified by phone and/or mail no later than November 4, 2019. Winner will select one (1) of the four (4) vacation packages offered and MUST notify RMHC of their selection by December 2, 2019. Once a prize selection has been confirmed there will be no returns or exceptions. Winner will be e-mailed a booking voucher with prize redemption instructions. Please allow 2-3 weeks from time of prize selection to receive a booking voucher. Once the winner receives their booking voucher, they can immediately begin redemption process.
TAX & IRS RULES: All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona, a non-profit organization operating under paragraph 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and the laws of the State of Arizona. Winner shall be responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
IMPORTANT: Federal law requires that corresponding tax withholding on prize values more than $5,000 must be collected from winners upon award and distribution. Federal and state withholding laws are subject to change without notice. The withholding laws in effect at the time prizes are claimed will be followed. Before claiming a prize valued at $5,000 or greater, the winner will provide RMHC with their name, address, social security number, and a check payable to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona in the amount calculated for tax withholding (withholding percentage of the fair market value of the prize less the cost of the raffle ticket), which will be paid directly to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner must also sign Form W-2G. If prize winner is unable to comply with payment of the required withholding amount, the result is condition for denial of the prize.

AIRFARE: All packages, except for the “Around the World Destination Vacation,” include round-trip coach class service. (See Prize Specific Info above regarding airfare for the “Around the World” package. Airfare included in the selected prize package must be booked within one year from the date of prize selection. Subject to availability. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the winner. Business and First-Class upgrades are available at the time of booking for an additional fee at winner’s expense. Use of frequent flyer miles for upgrades is dependent on specific ticket restrictions as determined by the airline’s frequent flyer program.
BOOKING & CONCIERGE SERVICE: Packages include Booking & Concierge Service from Winspire, a team of seasoned travel professionals who will help the prize winner redeem their selected experience. All travel related details and reservations are handled for every part of the Winspire experience. Entry purchasers and winners represent that the purchase of the ticket was made in the state of Arizona and acknowledge the laws of the state of Arizona govern the raffle in all respects.
